Ergonomic Swing-Down Bulk Bag Filling Station
The Swing-Down filling station represents a complete rethinking of the big bag filling process, allowing the operator to suspend an empty big bag while standing on the floor.
This design is significantly better in terms of ergonomics and safety while simultaneously increasing capacity.
When the operator attaches the big bag inlet to the vertical fill head and suspends the big bag loops, this occurs at a height of approximately 125 cm above floor level. This design eliminates the danger for the operator when stepping onto and over roller conveyors to access bulk bag straps and simultanously reaching out for bag inflator buttons.
Once the big bag is suspended, the fill head lifts upward and rotates into a horizontal position for filling.
Upon completion of filling, the inlet and loops automatically release, the fill head rises, and the filled big bag exits the filling station automatically through a roller conveyor.
The Swing-Down filling station is available in stainless steel (industrial, food-grade, or pharmaceutical finish) or painted carbon steel. It is designed for a maximum load of 1,800 kg when the big bag is full.
The filling station can be delivered with a vibrating deck for product deaeration within the big bag and load cells for precise weighing.
